The web version of the Alterdesk messenger (accessible via im.alterdesk.com) can be used in Chrome, Firefox, Vivaldi, Opera, Edge and Safari. Our video call functionality can be used in Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Vivaldi. If you wish to share your screen during a video call, you can use Chrome (with our plugin) or Firefox.
You can also choose to use our native (desktop) client. This client supports both video calls and screen sharing. The native client cannot be opened in a browser, but has to be installed on your desktop. You can download it for macOS or Windows.
Please ensure that the browser or desktop client you are using is up to date – older versions of browsers are not supported due to security issues, performance issues or lack of technological support.
